Cedartown Acadamy of Performing Arts
Cedartown Academy of Performing Arts was originally founded in 1983. Rebooted and founded again in 2017 with one purpose - to build a space for all students to grow, learn, and create with each passing day. Through a unique teaching approach and a truly passionate staff, we help students develop skillfully and personally to the highest level.
We invite you to explore our site and discover the academics and community Cedartown Academy of Performing Arts provides to each and every student.

Meet Our Staff
The core of Cedartown Academy of Performing Arts is our passionate team of teachers, who follow a high academic standard to guide their values, creativity and leadership. Take a look below to learn more about each of our teachers and instructors.
Tori Adamson
Ms. Tori has been teaching for eight seasons at CAPA. She has been dancing since the age of three years old and started with our very own Ms. Denise in 1993. She took at the Rome Civic Ballet as well as taught tap and jazz. For a combined number of 15 years. Ms. Tori is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern and a little bit of hip-hop. Tori also participated in intensives while in high school with the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education.
Ms. Tori obtains a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Shorter University as well as a Master's of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champign. Besides being one of our very own instructors she also is an Outreach Specialist at Tools of Life, Georgia's Assistance Technology Act Program, which serves people with disabilities across the state and helps them to acquire technology to be independent.
Haley Livengood
Introducing our very own Atlanta Hawks Cheerleader. Ms. Haley is hyperfocused on providing the best and most fun experience while being a part of CAPA. Ms. Haley will be our guest instructor during her availability.
Katie Wimberly
Miss Katie has been a dancer almost as long as she has been walking. She began taking dance at the age of 3 and has never looked back. She is classically trained in ballet, jazz, modern and tap. She danced with Rome Civic Ballet, Madeline Walker Coastal Ballet and professionally with USIB. Her favorite thing about dance is that it offers a beautiful way to express feelings, as well as teaching skills that are valuable outside of the studio. She is so exciting to be joining our CAPA team this fall as a Ballet and Jazz teacher.
